Set responsible goals: Start with simple goals and then progress to longer range goals. Remember to make your goals realistic and achievable. It’s easy to get frustrated and give up if your goals are too ‘large’.
For instance, if you want to embark on the popular 30 day squat challenge. You do not subject your inexperienced legs to a painful 100squats a day. You ideally start with 30, later on you move to 50 and eventually 100.
Make Physical Activity Part Of Your Routine: If it’s hard to find time for exercise, don’t fall back on excuses. Schedule workouts as you would any other important activity. You can also slip in physical activity throughout the day. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, or do strength training exercises while you watch TV at night.
Put In On Paper: Whatever your reason for working out is-whether you are trying to lose weight, gain energy, tone your butt, legs, sleep better, manage an illness- recording your progress on paper would certainly help you stay motivated. That way you see how much work you are putting in, and you are reminded of how much progress you are making
