So here is a project that you will love to try and that is about a pair of earrings. If you are planning to make something for your ears, then this project would be the one that you will definitely love and get the best compliments ever! DIY Chandelier Coin Earrings will let you have the Dolce & Gabbana inspired coin earrings at home!
If you are thinking what you can wear with these earrings, then you don’t have to give it a though because these earrings are so adorable that you can wear them with any formal or casual wear. You can wear them to any party or even for a girl’s night out with any solid colored dress and a pair of pumps. Once you have this pair of earrings, you will just try to find the next time you will be able to wear these earrings!
So for this project, you are going to need some gold coins. To be specific, you will need 10 gold coins for this project but you can create variety by adding more or less coins. Though adding more will make it look too heavy and making less will not be just perfect. So you can start with this design and then do the alterations if you don’t like it. You are also going to need 2 gold floral discs which will hold everything. Glue, skewer, earring posts, jump rings and pliers will also be needed to complete this project.
You can find all these at your nearest craft store or you can use them from any of your existing jewelries if they contain coins. Now gather everything together and start with the coins to make this beautiful pair of earrings. At first, you have to lay out the floral discs on a flat surface and arrange the design for selecting the points on which you are going to add the jump rings. Match the pattern of the floral discs and select a point to add one jump ring on each of them. Put a coin inside this jump ring and close it by using the pliers. Now measure the same amount of space on both sides and put two more jump rings followed by adding two more coins on each of them. Close the by using the pliers and do the same on the other floral disc.
This will help you to get the exact same location and make them both look similar. Now you will have to do the top part by selecting a point exactly opposite t the middle coin among the three coins that you have attached. This will make a perfect balance of the hanging coins. Now put a jump ring on that point and insert two coins in that followed by closing it. Now you will need to use the skewer so that you can apply some glue to the base of the earring post. Apply the glue with a very steady hand and don’t apply too much which will make it messy. Now attach the earring post to the back of the flipper coin and press it lightly so that it can stick properly. Let it dry for a night and that’s all! You are ready to wear your Dolce & Gabbana inspired DIY chandelier coin earrings!
