the runways are great for identifying all the latest trends and
must-own items, if you broaden your outlook and cast your eyes to the
streets, you might just find a wealth of style inspiration.
Taking inspiration from the people around you works because you see clothes in real life, on real men – not perfectly sized models – allowing you to visualise how specific pieces might look on yourself.

With this in mind, we have pored through every street style image we could find from the recent London, Milan and Paris men’s fashion weeks, as well as Pitti Uomo 86, in order to bring you the five major trends that well-dressed attendees were rocking this season…
Proving this to be true were the dapper gents on the streets, with nearly every man snapped sporting a stylish accessory of some sort. That being said, three accessories were more common than others: document holders, wide brim hats and mirrored lens sunglasses.
Perfect for storing – you guessed it – important documents as well as your daily essentials such as a tablet and smartphone, the document holder makes a sleek and chic alternative to a traditional briefcase or messenger bag.
Our favourites this season are made from leather and come in classic shades of tan, black or brown – the ideal accompaniment to sharp, tailored looks:
