Neil Patrick Harris' twins Harper and Gideon put on the green

Neil Patrick Harris' Oscars hosting gig may have bombed, but at least he has these two adorable munchkins to make it all better.

The 41-year-old actor spread some St. Patrick's Day cheer by posting a cute snap of his four-year-old twins Harper and Gideon with husband David Burtka, 39, on Tuesday wearing their green.

While Harper donned a glittery pair of green tinted shades and a shamrock button, Gideon served up some fun in a green hat, shamrock badge and glasses shaped like lucky four-leaf clovers.

The children were certainly enjoying their day, and seemed poised to join the crowd of happy St. Paddy's Day people in New York City with their parents.

Neil has, in fact, been on a roll lately when it comes to sharing precious photos of his little ones.

On Friday, the doting dad shared a picture of his 'babies' Harper and Gideon on the couch entranced by the television while Fred the cairn terrier snoozed beside them.

Harris proved that, busy at home though he is, he has plenty of time to capture his kids' cute moments.
